RELEASE NOTES/ERP SD Configuration/ERP SD Configuration v1

User mapping function switch

You can now map YaaS users to ERP users. For each YaaS user, the corresponding ERP user and password are used to set up the connection with the SAP ERP system through JSONRPC. If you switch on user mapping, the communal ERP user name and password are ignored when setting up the connection. The ERP user name and password are still used to automatically mark items for deletion. If you switch off user mapping, the communal ERP user and password are used in the connection.

After you switch on user mapping, you need to maintain the corresponding ERP user name and password for each YaaS user. To do this, send an HTTP PUT request to the ERP SD Configuration service URL and the {tenant}/me/credential endpoint. To call the RESTful API, get the access token for the Resource Owner Password Credentials Grant from the OAuth2 service by providing the user name and password. For more information, see the ERP SD Configuration service API documentation.
