Use the Loyalty Rule service to create rules in the system as well as process appropriate rules when the end user makes an activity on the storefront. All the user activities such as Registration, Order, Redemption, Rating, Review, and Tier Upgrades are processed by the loyalty rule service.

You can implement custom actions and register them on Loyalty Rules. These custom actions can then be configured in rules and triggered when a rule is executed.

Scopes prevent unauthorized access to Loyalty micro services. The accepted scopes for Loyalty Rule service are:

  • sap.loyengine_view - Perform read operations on Loyalty Rule services
  • sap.loyengine_manage - Perform create and update operations on Loyalty Rule services
  • sap.loyengine_delete - Perform delete operations on Loyalty Rule services
